After
doing a lot of research, I have determined that the following elements are key
to any weight loss plan:
Drink lots of water. Drinking water
cleans out your system, makes you feel full, and is easy to do, so drink at least
eight glasses of water every day.
Eat Frequently. Your
metabolism increases every time you eat, so instead of skipping breakfast and
pigging out at lunch and having spikes in your metabolism, each small but complete
meals every two or three hours (except while you are sleeping, of course).
Eat
Protein. Protein takes twice as much energy for your body to digest than
carbohydrates and fat, so you boost your metabolism just by eating it. With proper
exercise protein leads to increased muscle mass, which boosts metabolism and aids
in weight loss.
Eat Vegetables. Vegetables contain fiber,
antioxidants and lots of other very healthy ingredients.
Eat Protein
with Vegetables. By combining proteins and vegetables at every meal.
Proteins are acidic, vegetables are neutral, so by combining them you boost your
metabolism, neutralize acid, streghten bones, and encourage muscle growth.
Eat
Carbohydrates After Exercise. Your body needs carbohydrates for energy,
so eat them after exercise so they are burned quickly, and not stored as fat.
